Technical specifications :Raspberry Pi 27 buttons control panel1x HDMI output up to 1080p (1920x1080 at 60Hz)Size 9 x 6 x 3 cm (approx. 3.5 x 2.3 x 1.2 inches)Included :1x MiniMad unit1x 16gb micro-SD card with the MiniMad software pre-installed1x micro-SD to SD-card adapter1x power supply 100-240V1x Raspberry information bookletRecommendations :(1) MiniMad Video and MiniMad Light cannot be installed at the same time: the player will be configured for MiniMad Video in order to play a video mapping or with MiniMad Light in order to play recorded DMX sequences.(2) Media playback (video) is automatically synced when MiniMad units are connected to the same ethernet network but it can induce a one-frame delay between the different units, therefore the device is not suitable for blending/soft-edge. Note: It is good to have a complete number of pixels and the same physical screen size when edge blending. However, because of different projector resolutions, it is good to standardize on the same overlapping region.
Due to the number of different software applications available, it is beyond the scope of this section to describe how to perform this function for each possible method. However, if you have any further questions, please contact us.
On top of all that, it adds power user features that will let you take on bigger stages and higher level shows. For instance, if you want to do projection mapping, stitch multiple projectors together using edge blending or control Resolume from a lighting desk, you will need Arena.
just a input, for future updatesi would be very happy if there would be a mesh warp with bézier curves instead of adding to much point to get a good curve.?and it wouldt be great to have edge softener on the masking tool(also posibillity to add points tool).. anyway im looking forewardits a very cool tool.
The mask image then passes to a Blur node which allows us to soften the edgeof the mask. It is then is combined with the incoming video from QLab in theBlend With Mask node. The output of that node is routed to an Image Cropnode to ensure that the output image is constrained to the same size as theincoming video. The pixel dimensions of the source video are gathered by theImage Dimensions node and fed into the Image Crop node.
We now have all the methods we need in order to create a video compositioninvolving a background, a masked camera cue, and a foreground overlay, with thefinal result given a soft-edged border. The whole enchilada will look like this:
Scalable Display Technologies provides a patented technology that used a camera to automatically wrap and align projectors up to 16 from a single PC. For a permanent installation, this can be very useful, reducing on-site visits and provide robust software to align and wrap your image. Scalable is application independent, use their automatic wrapping & blending for your setup, while using your favorite VJ software and media server software.
You may add a stack of filters on top of any media object. This means you may cut out parts of the media frame with the Vector Mask filter. You can remove a certain colour range from the media frame with the Colour Mask filter. You can use the Gradient Mask filter to create a soft-edge effect. You can do fade-in fade-out, you can control opacity, brightness, RGB balance and other colour settings with the Image Filter. These are very effective tools for projection mapping workflow. 2ff7e9595c
